# Tactflow > Tactflow answers the calls you’d miss before the second ring and books them into your calendar. Tactflow puts a voice agent on the phone line of a service business. It answers the calls the business would otherwise miss: after hours, while the line is busy, or while the owner is on a job. The business keeps its existing phone number and forwards the calls it cannot pick up to the agent. Today there is one module, the voice agent, and it is in beta. It picks up on the first or second ring, works out what the job is, and books it. Nights and weekends included. Who it is for: For service businesses: the ones that live on inbound calls and on a calendar that has to stay full. We sell first to owner-operated HVAC and other home-service trades in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The agent itself is not tied to a trade: what it says, what it asks, and when it puts the owner on the line come from each business’s own configuration. What it does today: - Answers every call forwarded to it, nights and weekends included, and more than one at a time. - Opens every call by saying that the call is recorded and that the caller is talking to an automated assistant. - Confirms the caller’s name and a number to call back. - Works out what the job is and whether it is an emergency or routine work. - Takes the service address, with ZIP code, when the work happens on site. - Checks the business’s real availability and offers only times that exist. - Books, reschedules and cancels appointments on the business’s own calendar. Google Calendar is the calendar it works with today. - Emails the owner when an appointment is booked. - Takes a message when the caller asks for a person, and emails it to the owner. - If the business charges an after-hours dispatch fee, states it and confirms the caller wants the visit now before booking an urgent job. - Keeps a record of every call: the transcript, what the agent decided, and the outcome. What it does not do today: - Text messages. No SMS confirmations, no reminders, no text-back after a missed call. The owner is notified by email. - Spanish. The agent speaks US English only. - Live transfer to the owner. Today the agent takes a message instead. - Payments. It does not take deposits or card details over the phone, by design. - Anything after the booking: quotes, invoices, review requests, follow-up campaigns, a CRM. - Self-serve signup. Each business is set up with us, on a call, before the agent goes live. How to start: It starts with a call. We go through how calls reach you today and what you’d want booked. You leave knowing what it costs and what it takes to run. Prices are not published on this site. Pricing is part of the call.
